CAA MCK (micro conversion kit) Gen 2 + shield plus

I was so excited when I found this at a local pawnshop I had to pick one up. Welp discovered there's some good news and some bad news once I got it home.

Good news is the shield plus fits perfectly inside the chasis and I'm able to cycle the slide no problem.

Bad news is the front magwell was designed for the shield 1 / 2.0 single stack mags , thus the plus mags don't fit kind of a buzzkill

Just be grateful that it works perfectly otherwise. I'd love to get one of these for my SW40VE, but unfortunately they only work with the SD40VE, despite the fact that they're both practically the same gun with a few minor aesthetic tweaks.

I've been considering getting one of these for my M&P40 Shield 1.0, just to have, but they're not exactly cheap online right now. Seriously, they cost almost as much as I paid for the gun itself, so that's a hard pass for me.

I have one for my SIG 320- neat accessory. Works with both my full size and compact 320. Does not work with Wilson grip modules unfortunately.
