While I regularly shop for clothing/accessories at Cabelas, I have not bought ammo before. I bought some Remington Thunderbolts yesterday and got my order acceptance e-mail. Do they send tracking information when the order ships?
Also, I understand that earlier yesterday, they had two other types of Remington ammo listed. Can someone tell me what they were? What size packs?

Sometimes they will send you one, sometimes they don't. You can get the tracking number if you log in and go to my orders, then you click on the shipped link for your order and it will give you the number.

I know they had Rem. Viper (100 box) yesterday morning, but I am still trying to figure out what the hell happened this morning.

ya i ordered 1 of the m-22 an one of the thunderbolt an i got an e-mail about the thunderbolt but not the m-22, an when i check my orders on the site it says backordered

yea, they also had the win M-22, but the purchase isnt showing in my orders, and I didnt get email confirmation, unlike every other time I have bought.

Same but I got an email about the Remington I ordered.

did you buy them in one order or two? I bought them in one, and all I see is an approved transaction on my CC nothing on Cabelas site or email

2 orders I did not see them both listed at the same time. :(

I placed an order this morning for the M*22. I never got a confirmation email and it does not show up in my order history. I called customer service a while ago and they said their systems are updating right now and to check back around noon or sometime around there. Hopefully they really are in stock as it shows and my order went through.

ok cool, hopefully the customer service is right for once!

Well, I guess what you get may depend on how you ordered it to be shipped.

Nothing I have ever ordered with ship to store has ever had a tracking number and the status usually sat unchanged until it arrived at the store for pickup. Most of the time I have not received any confirmation email. Once I did. So the emails seem hit and miss.

When I did order something that was not for in store pickup, I get a tracking number and confirmation email. The confirmation email is hit and miss but I always got a tracking #.

just got the email showing the order, looks like cust. service was right.

I order ammo from Cabelas all the time. They have ammo avail for handguns regularly, so I order 3 boxes or so at a time when I need it. Sometimes things show backordered after buying, but they do update by email and send things out when they say. I only order .22LR when they also have .45 or 9mm or other caliber I need, because of the limit and shipping cost. Very easy to buy, don't have to make trips to Walmart or anywhere else.

i got an e-mail about both my orders, i did 2 -1 with m-22 , 1 with thunderbolt, an they both are backorderd

the e-mail about the thunderbolt says in stock, but when i check the site it says backordered like the m-22

Yeah, made the same M-22 order (said it was in stock) and got the confirmation that it was on back order. Oh well. At least they estimate it to be in stock to ship on 5-25. This is the first drip of ammo I've felt was worth the price since December 2012.

i am gonna be annoyed if they sold more than they had- or sold things they are expecting to get in.

is it so hard to program an active "X Amount Remaining" counter on every listing?
