Cabela's ammo questions

i got an e-mail about both my orders, i did 2 -1 with m-22 , 1 with thunderbolt, an they both are backorderd

the e-mail about the thunderbolt says in stock, but when i check the site it says backordered like the m-22

Sam here I ordered both m-22 and thunderbolt at 2 am yesterday morning and got a email last night after my conformation it was in stock saying its now on backorder. Both of them!

i ordered mine at 9am, so it must of been out of stock real fast an they just let people keep ordering it, wonder how many backorders there really are

As I posted above my email shows in stock for 5/24 delivery, but my Cabela's account shows backordered. Their inventory systems suck.

I wouldn't go so far as to claim this was a fact, but it almost looks like Cabela's sold items that they were promised to have on a certain date, not items they actually had on hand. Good or Bad? Who knows... I guess that would depend on how dependable Cabela's ammo source is. At least we were all able to Backorder - most reputable retailers won't even allow that anymore.

First they sent me a B/O with a tentative release date of the 25th...now I get another email with no release date...cancelling my order.

Anybody get charged on the M22? They say they won't charge your CC til it ships. My card was charged yesterday so I don't want to cancel if they are going to ship it.

My credit card was charged yesterday also. I did ship to store so I haven't received any emails from them, usually don't until the order has reached the store. My online order status says backordered though. It originally said it would arrive at the store by 5/24.

Me neither Now my .22 and 9mm ammo stash is OK...just need to build up the .45 stash a bit now, but that is easy to get.

I've seen tons of 45 showing up at Walmarts.

Cabelas gets most of my ammo business now......

I had the same issues as you guys on the M-22. Bought a single box of the Rem. thunderbolt on Weds.... and then another box of the Rem and the M-22 early on Thurs. Right now it looks like I may have been early enough to actually get in on it. Will cross fingers.

Yesterday my order of M*22 from last week showed backordered. I just checked and now it shows shipped! You may want to check status if you're waiting for a backorder. Mine is shipping to the local store so I won't get an email until it's there.

If you have a Cabela's in your State, they charge you tax.
