On those guns that came with both the chamber inserts and the .22LR cylinder, was the auxiliary cylinder serial numbered to the gun?

On my August 1962 shipped Model 53 the .22 LR cylinder is numbered to the frame, and the .22 Jet cylinder is not...

I've owned two. Both LR Cylinders were numbered.
