Boy what a catalog it is! A total of 921 pages and hardback. Never saw such a catalog. This past year I bought some reloading items, etc. and when the links worked I bought some .22 LR ammo as available. I can't remember but I may have requested a catalog, but I never expected anything this size.

Once upon a time the Sears catalog was a staple in our home. I think this Cabela's catalog will prove a most worthy substitute. It's got everything any man might want and even a few things for the women! This thing is so much nicer for looking at things and browsing than fiddling with a computer. The computer is fine for comparing different prices, etc. of different sources. But you can't beat a nice catalog like this for looking at lots of different items, etc. You can dog ear the pages! You can use old envelops to mark places. And what may be the best thing of all... you can take a bright red pen and circle things that need to be noticed... around birthdays and Christmas!

I get the hard cover every year, I also just got the fall catalog yesterday and we haven't had a day out of the 70's yet this summer.:D

Their fall and spring catalogs are hardbound. The other 20 a year or so are soft cover or just "flyers".

Good folks, good stuff and they do a good job, but their annual printing costs must be through the roof.

I still enjoy their catalogs, but anymore I browse and buy almost exclusively via their website.

I like catalogs and flyers much better than searching on the computer too. I'll be looking forward to the catalog as I get their other ones.
I don't order that much from them as I can often find better prices but for some things like the snowshoes I got last winter on sale, you can't hardly beat them.

Cabela's sends out more catalogs than most of the rest of the world combined. Most are specialized on certain items, like shooting and reloading. I probably receive 100/year. 2-3 on some days - no duplications. Prepare to be inundated.

I think JC Penny used to send the most, my wife used to get one almost every day, since they have been going down the tube
we don't seem to get as many.:)
