this just shows the benefit of being a member of a forum where we all look after each other. Now If I can just get powder and primers when I go to Wichita this week.
gunslinger really really wish I had 549 to drop on ammo I really do cause I take advantage of that so fast. It just be nice knowing its there in case ammo continues to be scarce.
I think as the manufacturers start to catch up the prices should go back down somewhat. The market can only absorb so much product and there is alot out there in the hands of people trying to make a buck. As the market reaches saturation point and sales slow down, I do hope to see a price reduction.
I was just at the Cabelas in Wheeling, WV yesterday. When I get there, they has 2 full shelves of American Federal 223 and Independance 5.56. They were $9.99 a box. It lasted about 30 minutes.
My LGS got some 5.56 in today. Quite a bit of it actually so I'm hoping that the manufacturers are starting to catch up now that the holidays are over.
