Yes it is. Run it in my Glock 19 and Beretta 92. Collect the brass and sell it for $28-30/1000....saves you an extra $1 a box

I haven't tried the 9mm. The steel cases 7.62x39 has worked great for me but I purchased one box of brass cased 40S&W and had two underpowered loads in the box. One had significantly lower recoil and caused the spent casing to not completely eject. The other didn't even budge the slide and the gun barely recoiled in my hand

A few years ago I was buying lots of a thousand Herters 38 special and 357 magnum, both FMJ for range ammo. I found the 38 to be brass plated. You could tell because it was the same color as the cases. This stuff left a lot of plating in my barrels. I used M Pro 7 copper cleaner to successfully clean that out.
The 357 seemed to be regular copper jackets and I don't think I had the copper fouling issue with it that I had with the 38 special.
Hope this helps.

Cabela's has their Herter's Select Brass Case 9mm 115 grain FMJ ammo on sale for $10.49 per box of 50 (online only price). Is this stuff pretty good for range work?

Presently made by Sellier & Bellot. Good stuff.

I buy it in 9/38/40/45 in all case flavors and never had any issues. Buy it and do not look back.

I have never had any issues with the Herter's factory brand ammo. However, Perfecta is also brass cased and stacked high and deep at my local Walmart for $9.29 a box, so I typically buy that instead.

I bought 6 boxes today and shot 4. 200 rounds no problems. They were 10.50 a box at Cabela's. SD9.

Have used their 9mm stuff in my compact and full size MP's with no issues. Have yet to try it in my Shield PC but assume it will be good there as well.
