Cable/Satellite TV how to bring down the cost?

Go to WallyWorld and grab a ROKU device. you have internet, so add wi-fi and you have tons of free stuff. The device is about $35 and a connection cable.

After recently moving from Prescott Valley, AZ to a remote spot 10 miles outside of Salmon, ID we were about to go with Hughesnet and when the installer came to put up the dish they actually convinced us to go with a STARLINK system and we are so glad we took her advice!!!

We own the system and the reception/internet speeds is amazing! We are able to watch all our favorite shows and movies without the spinning wheel of death and stalling issues. PLUS.....we are not limited on how much we can use the system.....our system does not slow down.

Yes, we have the typical apps such as Netflix, Hulu and YouTube TV....and YouTube TV is outstanding for the cost per month.

We paid about $600 for the Starlink system which included the first months subscription which is $110 per month.

I know some areas are unable to get the STARLINK due to location of SATS.....but if you can get it, DO IT!!

You own the system and take it with you if/when you move.

Cheers,

Depending on your viewing preferences I recommend Sling if you have high speed internet. Cost is (I think) $30.00 a month. Of course there are plenty of add ons if you're inclined (Discovery +, Britbox, etc.). I'm not at all interested in standard channel programing so this works well for us.
