Caldwell Stable Table Portable Shooting Bench

Anyone here have any experience with these? I drive Toyoto FJ, and can drive right up to the places I shoot to unload and setup right at the back of the FJ. I'm typically alone on my own and uneven ground as well. I believe it'll work for me, but wanted to see if anyone else had experience with it.. Thanks.. Ron

I googeled it to see what it looks like and noticed the price. Looks flimsy to me and costs almost double what I would have guessed. Now if you weigh a 110 pounds and not over 300 like me maybe its alright. About 5 years ago I bought a collaspable bench and seat that look to weigh about 3 times that one and being a cheapskate I doubt I paid half as much. If you want, I will look up the manufactor of mine tomorrow if its labeled somewhere. Heres a partial shot of, ahem, a buddy of mine sitting on it. Its all one unit, seat and table. Havent weighed it but would guess 65 pounds or so. I am not for sure, but this one may be mine. See what I mean? Compare the two.

I have a Caldwell Portable, it works pretty well, but I use a lead sled with it, not the flimsy rest that comes with it.

Actually, I just assembled it and it's pretty nice. It weighs 62lbs and breaks down into easily loadable sections. It's plenty strong and swivels as well. I believe I can unload and assemble on site in less than 5 minutes. I just ordered 1/2" stud swivel levelers for the tripod legs. That should help for the hard surface use.. I like it.. Ron

PS: This one didn't come with a shooting rest, but I have that part covered. It did come with a cleaning attachment..
