Call me crazy

I like them, too. They're certainly more amusing than some of those featuring people saying dumb things with the Statue of Liberty in the background.

Still, . . . there's just something about that name, Doug. It keeps me interested. It adds a lot of class to the commercial. Makes it believable.

They do make me chuckle and the lack of connection is what makes people remember the product.

Might have to reinstall cable just to get better commercials.....NOT!!

All Liberty Mutual and Progressive commercials...Hernia mesh and talcum powder lawsuits to name a few.....My Pillow...Alex Trebek...Tom Selleck...Any actor that talks like the "Sham-Wow" guy.

Bring back the E-trade babies!!

Is all I can think of at the end of the Limu Emu Doug commercial.

I'm just waiting for PETA and the SPCA to come down hard on Liberty Mutual for letting the poor dumb emu bang his head against the plate glass window.:D

Oh well. Anything for a laugh I guess. I'm still trying to figure out what the heck an emu has to do with insurance.

I think the emu spots are dumb as a sack of sock lint. And I like them about as much.

I've been sick of that wretched little lizard for years.

I dislike spots advertising that a food product has "real ingredients". Ground glass is a real ingredient. So is potassium cyanide. Cat dung is about as real and organic an ingredient as you can imagine.

I'm massively irritated by the trend to produce ads featuring dreadfully perky young women with high-pitched, squeaky, nasal voices. I detest perky, and give me someone with a voice like a combination of Lauren Bacall, Salome Jens and Linda Hunt.

Gripe, grouse, grumble, grumble... :D

Maybe it is there because emus can not walk backwards? They have to turn around before they can reverse direction of travel.

I must be crazy too (obviously).

I won’t be buying their insurance, but I get a kick out of the emu. It sure beats a talking lizard or chihuahua!

I was at my Dad's on Sunday, watching a movie on the TV. I could not believe how many commercials there were, every 7 minutes. After 3 hours the movie was still not over. Stupid **** almost all of them, just dumb.
