Would love to see some pre war I frame models with target sights, any and all welcome. Most of these models are rather difficult to acquire....
This is an early 1920s K frame target that I found at a gun show for less than $200 last year. No finish. but she shoots better than I can!
Something isn't jiving here. My understanding is that the K frames didn't come out until the 30's and basically were the death knell of the smaller I frame .22/32 HFT's. That and the introduction of the "kit" gun version with the 4" barrel.
Let's see how my iPad-foo is working. I took a picture of my early '20s vintage HFT with replaced barrel and modified ejector rod (thanks, Hondo44) and my Regulation Police Target in 32 S&W Long. The HFT is pretty trail worn, but other than the ill effects from some poor storage in a couple of spots, the RP-T is in excellent condition.
