Yup... If there were one true 'Best Firearm', all the rest would fold up their tents and disappear.
While I really enjoy my Shield, for both range and carry, I do still like my G19 and XDMc too.
No Cool-aid about it.
I just bought a Shield to go with my other M&P's and before even shooting it came across this video...speaking of coming back from Glock.

I cant wait to shoot mine.
Also your guy in the video when handling the pistol needs to keep his finger off the the trigger until ready to shoot. He likes to have it inside that trigger guard when holding or showing the pistol ( kinda a bad habit ya think)
I own two Glocks (sold a third) and a .45 M&P. Which gun to prefer is largely a matter of personal preference and how the gun fits you. I think the M&P fits my hand a bit better but I find that this gun is somewhat sensitive to improperly seated primers or perhaps hard primers. The Glock seems to have more energy driving the striker so they always go bang.
If it positively absolutely must fire every time, I'm inclined to lean to my Glocks. In defense of the M&P, I've not had an issue with factory ammo. Owning the M&P has caused me to invest in, and take the steps necessary to uniform the primer pockets to insure properly seated primers each time. I attributed my last failure to fire with the M&P to a hard primer. The round fired on the second strike.
I have a lot of experience with Glocks - they are fantastic firearms, but I simply shoot M&P's better, which is why I switched. If S&W came out with the M&P in the 80s then it would be the Glock of the firearms world. Glock enjoys the benefits of being the early innovator and deserves the success.
Thankfully Glock's success led to the development of all of these great ploymer striker fired guns, and every shooter should be able to find one that fits them best.
