Back in the early '70s, a college buddy had one of these knives. It had been given to him by his dad, a Navy pilot.

I need to go look in the one safe. I have one of these left (use to own several of them) and see how it is marked. I know they were still being sold new commercially until at least a couple years ago. Wally world used to sell them and I bought the last ones left in the store when they stopped carrying them and put them on clearance. Still basically the same as some older military issue ones I have had. Good knives, they made great trading stock for the gun and knife shows!
