Can I put the m&p 40 barrel on the mp 40c?

I wanted to have a little more accuracy and was wondering if anyone has heard of doing this..i don't think the slide would interfere? This is a carry/target pistol for me.

I don't see why it wouldn't work, but I don't believe you would gain anything in doing so. The compact barrel will fully stabilize bullets. The potential accuracy gain of the full size has more to do with sight radius, than barrel length.

Not to sound like a pain, but I assume you mean the entire slide / barrel assy? Yes

Barrel alone ( cant swear to this but I don't think it would be fully supported by the bushing. 4.25" barrel in place of 3.5"
