Can I See Your S&W .45 Autos?

Kevin G's 745 with that ambi. safety is especially nice, though I'd go with a D.A. Great assoertment of big bore autoloaders, everyone.

OK, I think I just realized I have been buying all 3rd gens, and need to add a 645 or 39-2 or some similar model that I can get some great grips for!

Those are some nice pistols guys! In the mean time I'm saving up for a new S&W 1911.

I've seriously gotta look into one of those 1911's for now here is my 4506 up top

Good for you! Mine is not an E series but they make and E in the same configuration. I think it looks good and I know it shoots!:)

Post if you pick it up...would like to see the E version.

Wish I had a few more as they are fine pistols... The all SS I have had for about 10yrs bought used. The PD is my carry pistol and very accurate..

I did it. Pick it up tomorrow.... very nice gun, I like the scallop machining on the front and back of the slide. The trigger felt real nice, crisp and sharp. The grips, are really sweet, the balance and weight are surprisingly comfortable. The worse part about it was the gun next to it in the showcase. Another SW1911es, it's 4.25" barrel with the shorter grip, seven round mag and scandium frame, I been wanting one of them too... I turned my buddy onto iut for $650, it was mint.

Here's apicture from S&W catalog

Great looking collection Dick. I just added to mine this morning. Picked up my new E series SW1911. Been wanting one since I 1st saw them, I'll try to get a decent picture of it and the rest of the 45 family soon...

That is the first adjustable sighted 645 that I have ever seen.
That's interesting, the few that I've seen have been adjustable. I'm not usually looking for 2nd generation pistols, but this 645 was pristine with box and all paperwork. So . . . I caved. ;)
