Can you change Charge Handle/ Latch?

Because my scope sets so far back on the rail it makes it difficult to pull back on the Charge Handle, was thinking about getting a Tactical latch for it, I know a pin holds the latch in the handle would this be something i could change out or a gunsmith?

Springfield there are several companies that offer the tactical latch. I would do a google search, this way you can look at different companies. I was also thinking about puttin one on my 15T.
