Can you guess why I bought this Model 27-4?

I don’t usually buy modern guns; I stick to the pre-model number and pre-war revolvers.
But when I saw this pristine Model 27-4 in a gun shop at a shade less than $700 I had to pick it up.
Any idea what made me reach for my wallet?

Hint: It's the part made of wood...

I've got a nice set of Pachmyer stocks I will trade even for those old time wood grips. They will make shooting that old revolver a whole lot easier and more fun for you. I'll bet I am not the only one here who would do that for you however. Isn't it nice to have so many "friends"? Seriously, great find. All my very best , Joe.

Seems a lot of cokes are coming out of the woodwork, no pun intended, lately compared to just a year or two ago. Great find.

Jaymo, you're correct. Coke bottle grips from an early .44 Magnum or .41 Magnum.

Beautiful revolver only surpassed by the grips and you don't get to say that often.
