Can you use a 15 round magazine for a 10+1 version?

I might be moving from California to Seattle next year. I want to buy a SKU 109200 M&P which is a 10+1 version. When I move to WA, can I just buy a 15 round magazine in WA for the California version of the M&P? Will it work with my gun or do you need a new gun in WA to use a 15 round magazine?

The gun is the same. All you'll need is new magazines.

It's supposed to work just fine. Just as Hillbilly77 stated, it is a matter of purchasing standard capacity magazines.

yep, i have a CA-compliant M&P and i put some 15 rounders in it and it shot great, while i was in Washington.
