I have managed to pick up two Victory revolvers and have been trying to acquire accessories for them. The one shown was lettered as shipped to the Canadian Purchasing Commission on April 26, 1941. It is Marked with the broad arrow and RCAF. It is in near perfect condition. The holster and cleaning rod are original. I have looked for several years to find a couple of ammo boxes to go with them but have found the supply to be nearly non-existent. So I decided to make a couple of fakes. I reproduced a label using some original examples. Cut a 8 1/2" X 11" sheet from a Kraft paper bag from a grocery sack and ran it through the printer with green ink. There are several variations in boxes and labels. I found some boxes that were very close in size on-line. I put in a block of wood for
support and glued the labels on with school glue. I made a few, one for this RCAF revolver and one for my other British Service Revolver. It will make a nice display. I have a Lanyard and will likely add a British canteen and web belt someday.
