for my 3 inch 686P revolver. Had a guy who was going to custom make one, but he turned out to be a flake, so I'm hunting again. Looking for a right hand draw shoulder holster WITHOUT the belt tie down on the other side. Prefer just the 2 loops over the shoulders. Vertical position for the weapon. I'm sure there are some out there, but have been lookin' REAL HARD. Can't find anything. HELP!!!!!!!!!

One of the big 3 leather companies (bianchi, desaantis and the other) makes one, I swear I came across it when I was looking for a holster for my 2.5"

I was looking into this today for my 6" 686P as a matter of fact. Just a quick look brought up diamonddcustomleather.com. I don't know if this fits your listed specifications but I think it would do well. Let me know what you think.

1) Diamond D Custom Leather

I have a shoulder holster in the bottom of a drawer I have not used in years and will be ordering a Kangaroo Carry Standard II from kangaroocarry.com for my J frame. Maybe worth a look at their website? No affiliation, just looks interesting.

I have a diamond d and it's great. More of a field holster though. If you are looking for regular carry Mitch rosen's shoulder rig may be what you want. But it's a horizontal carry so maybe not.

Rodek Leather Works, Inc. - Holsters
Looks like his shoulder holster is about $83. Delivery time is usually about a week.
What Ed shows on his webpage are his most common models. Ed does custom work. If there's something you want specific or a different model just let Ed know. He shows for a shoulder holster for an auto but I know he's made them for 2.5 Model 66. If you don't want the handcuff case let him know.
You won't be disappointed by the quality of Ed's work or the quality of the leather. It will be done right or it won't leave Ed's place. After seeing Ed's leatherwork you'll wonder how Ed can turn out the leather he does for such a low price. Ed works out of his house so there's no office overhead. Ed is the only guy making the holsters so he doesn't have to pay employees. And it's a hobby for Ed which he's done for at least 30 years

Thanks

I appreciate everyone taking the time to give me some vendors. I'm checkin' on all of them. Heard of a couple and not heard of the rest. Very helpful. Thank you.

Bianchi and you need to use the one for the 686 as there isn't a difference in size from the 686+. I just finished searching for one and I use the X-15 medium.
