Healthy, happy, and having fun again. Tiger will tee it up for 4 rounds of golf with no pain. He says with no pain he can play and have fun again whereas before he could not....

Ricky Flower, Dustin Johnson, who have played practice rounds with Woods say they see quite a change in Tiger this time. Free of pain and free of pain meds, he is smiling, joking, having fun and relaxed and he has power and a short game to match.

It will be nice to see Tiger playing again in good health........

Will be glued to the internet or TV for 4 rounds........

Hope he has fun playing and competing again, I for one wish him the best.......

I too like seeing him come back. But with the violence of his swing all it takes is one shot out of the rough, sand, or any awkward lie and it's over. He said he has "changed" his swing to match his "new body" but only time will tell. It'll be interesting to see if he can make it through 4 rounds.

The few vids showing his new swing look really nice. Not so violent...and he still has speed. Hopefully he will have learned that he can't abuse his body now like in the old days before he injured himself and will play accordingly....I hope so......as you say, time will tell..........

Tiger may be free of pain but in golf it's more what's between your ears. The least bit of doubt, any lack of concentration is going to be what he fights, more than his back pain or bum knee. The other golfers out there aren't scared of him like they used to be either. For now I'm sure if he makes the cut it will be considered a success.

I too would like to see him return to the links. He did more for golf than some of the other pros out there, and was exciting to watch in his younger years. I will also be watching.

My wife, doesn't like him at all.

Would Non celebrities get the same ??

This question comes up a lot from people who don't understand the criminal justice system. Quite frankly, the answer is "Yes . . ." Millions and millions of people get caught every day in circumstances similar to Tiger's arrest. You don't hear about them, because the arrestees are uninteresting people. I'm willing to bet the farm that you have several friends, acquaintances and even relatives with similar issues that you have no idea about. Tiger's experience is typical of any first time offender committing a similar offense . . .

No, I have no friends or relatives that have got away with anything. What a lame statement? So send me the deed to the farm!

But, how many superstar athletes, actors, politicians, etc get away with a slap on the hand for drugs, sexual abuse, dog fighting etc etc and continue to make millions.??

Yes, Tiger was a great golfer, nothing against other than cheating on his wife, getting away from the first
"accident" just a swell all around great guy right up there with Arnold Palmer, just sick of stars getting away with things.

Heck I have Tiger and OJ living nearby, maybe I can get an autograph!

Tiger shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as Arnold Palmer when it comes to great guys.

The greatest golfer ever has been married to the same woman for 57 years.

Really no interest at all.He has absolutely 0 impact on my life.I don`t feel celebrities are treated the same as everyday folks. That being said maybe he can get his life together.Someone who had so much and then threw it away.Makes me wonder.

If I never saw him or heard his name mentioned again,my world would be a better place.
f.t.

Basically, I agree. But I did stumble into YouTube videos from the Howard Stern show where several of his girlfriends described him (Tiger Woods) and his actions. Quite interesting, if one has an interest in such lurid matters.

One girl did feel guilt about her adultery, but not enough to keep her from playing with Woods. (This is not about playing golf.)

All seemed to agree that he had no shame or guilt about his actions while married, and hubris seems to be a part of his nature, as with O.J. Simpson, and, I think, with NBC's Matt Lauer, now fired for his inappropriate behavior at work.

Depending on the source, Lauer made either 20 or 25 million dollars a year. I guess he'll get by, although I suspect he'll lose some money in lawsuits. Tiger was divorced by his Swedish wife.
I don't recall if he was also sued by anyone.
