Carry Case for the 15-22

I actually went with the 38" NcStar version. Five mag pockets and the quality is really good for only $17.00 plus $6.99 for shipping from Optics Planet. Holds the rifle really tight in the case so no need for inside straps imho. Glad I went with this case.

Case looks good. You need more magazines. :p

Yes I do! But I was waiting for the short ten rounders that might never come. Plus I just got the gun last week and love it.

This is pretty basic but serves the purpose and the size is perfect. Uncle Mikes, via Optics Planet, Inc. Three mag pouches, carry strap, large velcro flap pocket. $22.97 plus S/H.

I have a similar case but I put my gun in the case with the handle down when it is being carried because I have optics on it. I think that is how Skidder has his too but hard to tell when his pictures don't work.;)

Can/should one store the gun in a case like this?

Yeah I don't get it when I put in multiple pics all but one go away.

Anyone see a good case approximately 16" in length that allows the weapon to be broken down in to two parts, receiver group and barrel group. Makes for good backpacking/stow away.

Nope, the two halves would bang together, would like a divider. Maybe a breakdown shotgun case will do.

The Castle Rock Tactical is closest, but at $114, Ow. I need something really compact to clip to my SHTF Alice Pack. The 15-22 (2 mags) will be my survival game rifle with subsonics. I have tricked out a AR15 5.56mm (7 mags) and a Beretta 92F (3mag) for uncooperative people.
