Does anyone? I'm considering picking one up but am trying to think of carrying options as this will be my edc for a few months. Please include pictures of your carry set up if you don't mind.
You're situation sounds similar to mine. I've found that drawing from the pocket can be extremely fast if one is practiced, but that depends on one's set up.Dweller,
I have carried a 4" model 10, as well as other K-frames. I carry them in an old style Desantis Cozy Partner IWB, carried at 4 o'clock. My only hesitation is I frequently work off of ladders, and my "cover" shirt sometimes rides up and exposes the butt (the gun's).
I admit that i'm spoiled but pocket carry with a j-frame. It's the easiest method of carry, but I have serious reservations about being able to get a fist-full of gun out of my pocket in a hurry.
I'm trying to force myself to carry my K frames more, it takes dedication.
1) Because I can.
2) It'll be my only handgun for a couple months
3) I'm being offered the firearm for a very reasonable trade. However, I haven't accepted the offer yet. Not until I see it and my friend/gunsmith looks it over.
4) Because I can
5) I believe in a well armed society.
In all honesty, EDC is a little misleading. I can't carry where I spend most of my time. But I feel that if a firearm won't stand up to EDC then I shouldn't even carry it part-time. Hopefully that clarified things.
