Carved Magnas

Okay, these are not my stocks nor even my photos. I stole them (the photos) off the internet.

Can anyone tell me if they are factory or just a well whittled pair of stocks?

They were factory stocks, then someone carved them. I like!

The style is reminiscent of the Alvin White stocks I've seen on Doc44's guns.

Thank you all. As I mentioned, I stole those photos from the internet, might have been from this forum! I have no idea who has them nor where they are. I hope to find a rough pair of N frame magnas to carve to duplicate them. However, my chisels are sharper than my carving skills!

The last time I saw those carved magnas, they were on this engraved nickel pre-27... when it was for sale on GunsAmerica. The grips did not number to the gun.

It was purchased by a dealer and the grips were replaced with smooth rosewood magnas, which is what the gun left the factory wearing.

The grips are very well done.:cool:
