Case Dimensions

I was looking at case illustrations in my Speer manual for the 45 Colt/454 Casull/460 S&W and noticed that my Starline 45 Colt brass looks like the 454 Casull, just shorter. The dimensions also are closer to the Casull except for the length.

Need some enlightenment here.

Yes, they're all in the same family. If you have a 460, you can shoot either the 454 or 45LC in it. Kinda like having a 22LR & shooting 22 Longs or 22 Shorts in it too.
