Will lead bullets be fine in a Sigma 9mm too?
Problem with lead bullets is that over about 1000 FPS they tend to leave lead deposits in the barrel that can be a pain in the butt to get out.
Nice thing about .45 is that most loads don't exceed that limit and thus are not usually a problem. If you were shooting 147 grain 9mm at about 900 fps or so i wouldn't think it would be a problem but i don't know about 124 or 115 which will be well over 1000 fps.

.
Sorry but that is false info. The web has advanced the art/science of bullet casting to areas never seen before.
I shoot a 285 grain home cast bullet at 1750 fps and get zero leading. I have fired about 500 rounds of this load this year and have not cleaned the weapon yet.
