CCI was about $3.50 per box before this started. I used to shoot a lot of it, in our club matches, and for the money it was great.

I would say buy it, and get as much as you can, while its available.

I like the CCI standard velocity round for accuracy. It is extremely accurate for me especially for the price. Federal used to have a good and inexpensive Champion Target load #714. I think only Dick's Sporting Good sold it at the time. Sadly it's no more. I wrote Federal asking about it and was told it was replaced by a another ammo I can't remember right now. Of course the price was double that the #714 was.

I still have 1,500 rounds which was part of a big buy when it was on sale at Dick's.

That's about right for pricing these days. A year from now, that price will be a steal. This inflation thing is real…!

Both of our local Walmarts get the CCI's about once a month. $3.67/box with a limit of three. They both got about 150 boxes this weekend.

I'm so glad I stocked up before the price increases. I've got a case of SV, 2 cases of Blazer and 5 of Mini Mags.

I've found the best price is from CCI direct. When they have it in stock you can mix your order up so that the total is over $100 and then you get free shipping.

I've recently switched to Eley ammo since they're the only ones I could find that didn't raise their price during the pandemic. It went from being expensive, but high quality ammo to exceptional value high quality ammo! I just ordered another 2500 rounds of Eley Contact on Friday and got it Monday. You can't beat 9 cents per round for top shelf stuff!

I have bought and shot Eley Club ammo because it's still a high quality ammo but at a lower price than the Eley Tenex ammo.

Eley is cheaper than CCI right now so I ordered 10 boxes. It's great ammo. Shoots well in all of my guns. I bought the Eley Force.

I haven't seen real copper BB's in 50 years. They are "copper colored" solid steel or zinc from all the big manufacturers. Joe
