Was at a small lgs today about 100 miles from me. They had 50 round boxes of 40grain round nose for 2.57 per box. They had lots! I said I'll take 10 not to be greedy you know. Almost lost it when they said 2 box limit. Oh well out the door with my two plus some 380 for the wife.

Remember the good old days when you would buy a brick in the spring and it would last all the way through rabbit season ;-)

Sure glad i bought very often back then. Now i look and think if i had to price that price for .22LR. I'd sell ever 22 rifle/pistol i own. Because use to the .22 was a cheap way of having range fun. But now days, cheap doesnt even come to mind.

i was limited to one 50 round box a few weeks ago...the same store limited me to a single 100 round box of federals today...it's the only place i can find any.
