Insert your personal/learned techniques/life experience into this general blue print and you'd have something fairly similar to the course I took. Ive heard of some really bad instructors out there who talk big about shooting first and asking questions later. I would personally really pound the CCW laws of the State and land into the course, beginning and end. This same instructor also threw around racial slurs for the amusement of the class. Incredibly unprofessional in my opinion, if not downright wrong.
Good luck, and may you bring good education, techniques, morality, and luck to your future students!
