I need links for safe, reliable websites to download ringtones. Im looking for gun shots and animals (ducks, geese ect..)

It's free (a little slow), and works ok. Do a search, type in "gun", you'll find what you are looking for.
Last time I looked there were several "gun shot" ring tones.

I'm also interested in a couple of the special ringtones.

Got a question though... If you download one from either the pay or free sites, do you end up getting other unwanted junk like spam text messages, calls or other annoyances?

I'm reluctant to give out my cell number over a web site.

What's been your experience?

I've found a bunch with google by searching for wav. files (machinegun wav. for example) and downloading them free on my blackberry instead of searching for ringtones. I have machine gun, ricochet, General Quarters alarm (the wifes ringtone) and many more. Usually you'll find them on non-commercial sites that you don't have to pay or give any info. If they ask for it, keep searching. There are tons of free stuff out there. And I pulled them off the sites using "save target as" instead of a regular download.
