I get the ones that I have to pay extra shipping on my package before they will release it. They say it's USPS but the area code is from Nova Scotia.

We don't use checks any longer. The only things we use cash for is valet parking at the hospital and the carts at ALDI. All else is plastic.

Now, back to the topic at hand;

I miss Dilbert. I used to have a flip calendar on my office desk and they would also post it in the daily paper. Guess he said something not politically correct.:rolleyes:

I got a text message two days ago purporting to be from Massachusetts EZDriveMA telling me to pay a $2.99 toll to avoid higher fees; the link to click to pay the $2.99 is the same as what Massachusetts publishes. But the text message came from a Philippines number, so I'm not sure how the scam would work. But is has to be a scam.

I have received several toll scams, Guess I am going to jail

Can't say I have ever used a toll road.:D

There will be a very small difference in the web address, so small that you will have to do a letter by letter comparison to find it. I get these in Kiwiland about twice a week.

A few weeks ago, my brother woke up to find two texts from his bank overnight asking him to confirm, via 4 digit code, two purchases on his debit Visa card. Fortunately neither went through because he didn’t respond in time.

Just before he rang the bank to report the suspicious activity he checked his account online and found a transaction that did go through for NZ$799.00 at a well know Kiwi jewellery store (must have all been online as the businesses were closed overnight).

Fortunately the bank accepted it was fraud and reversed the charges.

I never keep more than $50 in my debit Visa account, and my credit card lives in a RFID envelope in my wallet.
