CELL PHONES AND PLANS

I used to.
They use ATT and T-Mobile, both have good coverage around here.
I don't use my phone that much so their cheapest plan - $10 a month with no minutes, is actually not a good fit for me.
I went to ATT- prepaid GoPhone, no monthly fees, 25 cents when you talk, 20 cents a text.
So my monthly cost turns out to be about $10.

I've used Tracfone, Virgin Mobile, Ting, TPO, and a couple that are no longer in business. I'm currently with Cricket which is owned by AT&T.

If T Mobile service is good in your area take a look at TPO. They have low prices, and good customer service. Plus you can select a charity to receive 5% of your monthly fees. I chose American Family Association, but NRA ILA is also on the list. The only reason I left them is that T Mo has no coverage in a couple of areas that I travel to on a semi regular basis whereas AT&T does have service there.

I have CC and love it. My monthly total for 2 phones and more text, phone and data than I'll ever use is $41 with tax.

If you decide to go with them sign up by phone, not on their web site. They often have "left overs" from last year for a lot less than retail price. My iPhone 5S was $54 shipped.

We've been CC customers for several years. We have very low usage, don't text and only have 2 flip phones. Our monthly bill is around $33.00 total. We could save a little more with their lowest plan. The AT&T SIM cards are good for this area. Very good service in our area, even from outlying areas where my buddies have farms. The cheap flip phone works just fine, but my wife has their "senior" phone with big buttons which works good for folks with poor eyesight or difficulty with smaller buttons. I'm not thrilled that they are affiliated with ARP (anti-gun), but that's life.
