I have had my MP 40 shield for almost two yrs I have about 500 rounds thru it. I bought a 9mm conversion barrel. My only complaint was it was hard to grip n charge it. I bought this charging handle from Recover Tactical (RT). While I had to wait a couple months before RT could get stock it works great . It was reasonably priced and fits close to the outlines of the slide
