I hate chemo drugs. I went through that in 2008 and I would not wish that on a low life scum bag. It was like having a bad case of the flu for a year, and your hair falls out.

So, the diagnoses is in and they tell me it's Hodgkin's Lymphoma (cHL). The next step is a PET scan so I can be "staged". (stage 1, 2, etc) Then come up with a treatment regimen. I'm guessing, or more like hoping it's stage one and the prognosis should be good, as the success (cure) rate is pretty high.
The last time my wife played the roll of Nurse Ratchett from One Flew Over the Cu-Cu's Nest. "it's medication time." But seriously, she is taking this harder than I am, at least until the infusions start. I am so blessed to have her. She has been trying to fatten me up ahead of the expected weight loss.
One bummer is I'm prepaid for gun shows through October and I don't know if I'm going to make them all. My partners should be able to set out some of my things without me. Then there is the probability my WBC and RBC count will tank like it did the last time. Four blood transfusions and injecting e-coli fixed that up. It's hard to do gun shows with all those germs floating around though.
Well, that's what is going on, so if I'm not on here posting stupid stuff every now and then, that's why. We are just taking it one day at a time and looking forward to many healthy years ahead.
