Chip "Iggy" Harding

Cody - I recall you and I met only once but I spent a lot of time with your Dad while I still lived in Laramie. We often went to gun shows, spent time at the Carlin or just sort of generally hung out. He was one of my favorite guys. You may already know this but he spoke of you often and always with great pride. He was as proud of you and your accomplishments as a Dad could be. His passing is a sad loss of a friend for me and a greater loss for you and your family. We'll all miss him.

My condolences to the family. My wife and I had the privilege to shoot prairie dogs at the ranch near Medicine Bow about 15 years ago for the first time. Chip was a wonderful human being with a kind and gentle heart. I am saddened by your post, unable to "Like it", and grateful that you did inform us of your Dad's passing.

As others wrote, please continue your posts. Chip will be missed by many, especially his Holiday Messages.

Cody, your father was a well known, respected, and beloved member here of long standing.
Onomea, thank you for finding and linking this thread. It's important that Cody might get the opportunity to see that, it was the first thing I thought of when I read his post.

We had a thread on here not too long ago where the subject was sharing how you chose your user name and/or what the name means to you and Iggy shared his and we all absolutely LOVED it, and that's how I'll always remember him.

Cody,
Many years ago your dad and I discussed me coming up there to shoot some prairie dogs. Some thing always seemed to get in the way. I really enjoyed our talks anyway. As others have mentioned his posts were always great to read as well as being informative. He will be greatly missed.

Jim

RIP. He was always a fine person and true gentleman, as well as a great story teller with posts, I noticed that here. My better half always saw it on another forum he frequented and always popular, respected and most highly thought of...

Had several discussions with Iggy about Prairie Dog hunting over the past many years. I was always hoping to have been able to "clear out" a town or two for him, but never had the opportunity. Now too old to travel don't shoot well enough any longer. He is missed.
