Y'all don't get my point. Chocolate cereal is the bomb!!!! But cheerios are tradition and you don't mess with a perfect food-it's kinda like chocolate cheetos. If you want chocolate cereal you eat coco puffs or coco krispies. You want sugar-you go with the frosted flakes or the sugar pops, Captian Crunch, etc. You want to pretend healthy-it's cheerios, corn flakes rice crispies or shredded wheat. And so on. There is a certain order in the universe-and chocolate cheerios disrupts that order.
Hell, maybe I'm over reacting-I still remember when Dorito's came out and still view them as the new snack from Frito Lay

Guess you haven't been down the Cheerio Isle in a while. There are "fruit loop" cheerios, "apple jack" cheerios, bannana cheerios, mixed cheerios, MultiGrain Cheerios , Frosted Cheerios , Yogurt Burst Cheerios , Berry Burst Cheerios (including variations of Strawberry, Strawberry Banana, Cherry Vanilla and Triple Berry), Oat Cluster Crunch Cheerios , and even, hold on to your hats!...Cheerios Snack Mix!!! THAT NOT EVEN BREAKFAST!

That's just the current line up. There were others, according to wikepedia.

I think they've messed with Cheerios a good bit before the Choco O's. Or, in the spirit of the forum, they've Monkeyed with them.
