Chocolate milk and cereal! Now what?

Some folks were intrigued by the notion of my eating cereal with chocolate milk.

Well, you know what?

Chocolate milk is a terrific mixer!

I like to mix chocolate milk with Dr. Pepper Cherry.

Tastes like a chocolate covered cherry!

Also, I like to mix chocolate milk with orange soda.

Tastes like an orange Tootsie-Roll Pop with chocolate center.

Like an old friend of mine used to say, "When it's getting to be too much for most people, John is just starting!"

Lol, sorry but I think I’m the one who started the intrigue. I like chocolate milk. It might be ok on chocolate flavored cereals but that’s it. I think it’s good enough to stand on its own. Like fine Bourbon, drink it alone. No mixers

We have a milk substitute that comes in chocolate flavor, I liked it on my breakfast cereal when I worked and ate a very early breakfast, it was great on my Raisin Bran. I never was a big milk drinker, it was never encouraged. We didn't use milk in my family except for cooking or cereal. My uncle used to say "Cow's milk was meant to put meat on a farm animal." They ran it through a separator, kept the cream and slopped the hogs with the skim. I had friends that would hit the fridge in their home and drink milk right out of the container, I drank water ice cold right out the tap. Quite of few of those guys also had acne, a direct result of being lactose intolerant. Sorry about the thread drift....

In the 60's my brother started pouring chocolate milk on his cereal. He continued doing it until his death. He loved it.

When we find ourselves at McDonald's or Wendy's Ruthie will always get a chocolate shake and dip her fries in it. At dinner at home she always has chocolate milk with her meal and a cup of Red Rose tea with milk and sugar for afters.

I dip my fries in sriracha. We is all wired differently.

Every day I mix a protein drink with skim milk and pour skim milk on my frosted flakes.
Never thought of using chocolate protein drink on my frosted flakes, I might just havta try it.

I must repeat again: Chocolate, specifically Hersheys, is the "Nectar of the Gods." I've used chocolate milk on cereal forever. On choc ice cream, everything. On toaster waffles with Philly Cream cheese, on hot dogs, almost everything. I suppose I can thank some of the stuff that I used to partake in years ago; if you know, then you know. EXCEPT when some moron put it in Yuengling Beer and packaged it. He should be scrubbing the bottom of toilet seats after the Steeler games in the parking lot port o johns. French fries in mayo...try it.

Sixty or so years ago at Winter Camp, our Scout troop had no white milk. A friend of mine tried making pancakes with chocolate milk and it was a major failure.

I miss the old chocolate milk. Loaded with butter fat. None of the 2 or 1%

If I'm having fish I will dip my fries in tartar sauce.

The Belgians started the Pommes Frites dipped in mayo thing. I thank them for that.
