I have had a CHP 4006 TSW for a month now. The magazines that came with the pistol have witness holes for 11 rounds but I can only fit 10 rds in the mag. Is it only a 10 rd mag or do I need additional strength to fit 11 it the mag? Thanks for any input.

Kind of a normal thing. I have about 15 magazines (Own two 411s - same mag as the 4006) bought some new and some used. I can only get 11 rounds is three or four of them. I just live with it. I have read (probably here) that there is a tweek for making them work. but it didn't seem critical to me.

They are 11 round mags. They are just that hard to load. Get an UPLULA loader to save your thumbs.

The .40cal mags that are 10-round limited (for sale during the AWB, 1994-2004) have a very obvious horizontal line visible on the sides of the magazine. Trust me... you can't miss it.

If you don't have these lines, it is an 11-round magazine.
