Just bought a excellent+from same seller on Gunbroker, along with five extra magazines. Now I have to wait till it ships. They look beautiful, and go well with my 5903 and 6906. Next will be a 4506

BTW: what load is everyone using on these? I have both the Federal 180 grain HST and the old Remington/Winchester/Federal 155 grain INS load (about 5,000 rounds I got twenty years ago stored in nice water/air proof cans before I went to USCS OI). I have seen Beretta 96D Brigadeer crack frames with that load, and only the HK USP and original Sig 229 could handle that load. But man, did that 155 grain round cause damage! I don't want to be damage this beautiful pistol, so I can stick with 180grain.

Mine has lots of holster wear but I'm content with it as the pics of a totally different gun had worse wear on it. Also glad my gun came with the hogue grips so I got to shoot it and realize it wasn't for me. Curved is what eventually went on my gun. Not going to lie I wasn't shooting it as good as my 469 and didn't help the sights were like this when I got it... Eventually I got better with it. The weight of the gun makes the .40 feel like I'm shooting 9mm out a Glock 19.

For the folks asking what I meant by earlier post.

Gun I was bidding on and what showed up. I got lucky and didn't make a huge deal.

FYI - CHP 4006 TSW in stock again at Summit Gun Broker. Great guy to deal with and they are at a fair price.

Got mine two days ago; feels and looks great. Only thing I am adding is Trijicon night sights I bought yesterday.

I started my search at Summit gun broker a while ago but he didn't have any in really nice shape and his inventory didn't replenish. I searched GB and also found I Buy Right who had very detailed pictures and took the guess work out of what I was getting. I saw for myself what I'd end up with which helped. I paid more for an excellent+ model but have never been upset for paying a little more for a gun in great shape and not second guessing why I did. I shot it and enjoyed the pistol. You cannot get the extras that's put into the TSW pistols for the price at any other manufacturer currently in my opinion. Heavy yes, solid heck yes. Enjoy your TSW and especially your CHP version fellow shooters.

Reason I've been holding off for TSW 5903's. The regulars come and go all the time.

I'm with you 100%. :) God bless those folks who are willing to order off the Internet without so much as a fuzzy photo or two. That takes courage and bravery beyond my capacity. Poor as I am, I'm willing to pay more... sometimes a lot more... to know what I am getting. :D

I carry one everyday and love it. Got mine from Kings, they just had some not long ago for Black Friday. Mine was like new for 419

Summit has them again . Can't say enough about him , he's great . I've bought 4 Smiths' off him , and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again . According to his site , he's going to be retiring . Too bad , I hope whoever buys his business cares about the customers like he does .

Do the 4013TSW, used by the CHP, have CHP serial numbers ?

they do not have CHP serial numbers, but have the CHP control numbers on the right side of the slide, barrel, frame. careful when buying, they tend to crack at the mag. well / top of the frame.

Well finally took my TSW 4006 out
and like everyone says it's a shooter
