My Christmas came early last weekend. My wife and I made the Louisville, KY show on Saturday and the Knoxville, TN gun show on Sunday afternoon. As we perused the tables, I saw several .32L S&W Regulation Police with very good prices, I was tempted! We decided to cover the entire show first and then return later to the guns of interest. Most of the time this is a fatal error! But, with a limited budget? This was a good decision this time. This was my reward for patience, a S&W 44HE First Model New Century Triple Lock in shooter grade. These are scarse in any condition and almost impossible to find in my neck of the woods. It is a brown gun, used but not abused, locks up tight, no sideplay or endshake. Bore is dark but no pits with great rifling and it comes with a Jinks letter that is a bit confusing! It references "target"??? All numbers match and it was shipped in 1917. No number on the right grip.
