Info needed 28-2 HP

Picked up 28-2 yesterday. Mecahniclly like new , a ding here and there, wrong grips, but I am very happy with it. Serial number N1741XX, would 1970 be close? Thanks

According to the "SCSW 5th Edition", your s/n (N1741xx) would indicate manufacture in 1973. Enjoy!

Thanks everyone. I am a shooter not a collector, but I have been trying to match gun birthdays with myself and other family members. If 1970 that would be my graduation year. 1973 is the birth year of my daughter. Pretty much told my age on that one. LOL
