I took 4 revolvers to the range today for some testing and general target shooting.

Smith 625-8 4”
Smith pre-27 3.5”
Smith 10-9 2”
Colt Trooper MkIII 4”

Some observations. I’ve always loaded my 357’s to max length at 1.61 inches. Always worked fine in my Smiths. Right to the end of the Smith 27’s cylinder, but no issues. Not so in the Colt Trooper. I’m going to have to shorten the length for proper functioning in everything.
