I have been reloading for a short time and have purchased a chronograph to check my reloads. I had tried to find a good worksheet to take to the range to right down my info and to calculate my results when I get back. I couldn't find anything that fit my needs. I did a little work with an excel document and created something that seems to work. I put in the raw data and it does my calculations for me and then I print it out. My question is, have I done the calculations right and if there is anything that I should add to the calculations? As of right now I am loading for pistols, but will be loading for rifles in the very near future. Any help would be appreciated with this. I will try and upload a zip file so that you can look at it. The document is password protected, but it does not have a password to remove the protection to make changes in it or see formulas.

I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve, and I can't find any formulas for calculations in your worksheet.
I have used Excel to document chrono results for both pistol and rifle.
I built in formulas to give me the following:

Average feet per second
Extreme spread
Standard deviation

Extreme spread and standard deviation give you an indication of how consistent your reloads are. (Don't ask me to explain SD; I can't. But, the lower the better)

The formulas won't show up until you unprotect the worksheet. Once you unprotect the worksheet you can click on the cell with the final answer in it. When doing this you can see the formula at the top of the excel document and how it was calculated. All formulas are based on the amount of shots recorded. It is set up for 10 shots but will calculate on anything up to and including 10 shots as it is entered. It is easier to keep it protected when putting in the info. That way you can hit ENTER after keying the velocity of the shots and TAB after entering the other info.
I agree with the explaining of the SD. Also read that the % of SD was important. Thanks for checking it out for me. Hope this help.

I didn't bother to do any calculations as my Chrony Beta automatically gives me FPS variation and Standard Deviation as well as all the individual velocities and the total average velocity.

Updated Chrono Worksheet

I added a couple of data entry locations on the Range Shot Log on the first tab. Changed some of the formatting and added some info to help see what was happening on the Chrono Calculations tab. Hopefully this will help people to see how I got to my final calculations and give some feed back. I also created a Reload Data Log that I will be using to keep track of my reload information. (Not sure if I need more information recorded)
Basically the Range Log sheet is to take to the range and record at the time of shooting. Chrono Calc. sheet is to add info, print it out, and save. The Reload Data Log sheet so that I could keep an ongoing log as I am loading the rounds. I would be keeping it all in a 3 ring binder.
If you know an easier way.........please let me know!!
Still hoping that I have done the calculations right. Need some verification, Please
