City lawyers have determined that current GA law dealing with carry in public places allows carry in the airport terminal. Gov Perdue signed a bill into law earlier this year that defined places where carry is specifically forbidden, rather than the catch-all "public places" prohibition that existed before. He vetoed another bill that would have specifically allowed carry at the airport. However, it seems that attorneys for the city have determined that the new law includes language that allows carry at the airport. The mayor doesn't like it very much.

I have always carried in the Non secured areas of airports here and am not aware of any law against it in CA.
