While out shopping during the Gumba invasion I came across Clamato juice, (a mix of tomato & clam juice). A kid in H.S. always swore by it & I figured nobody else would drink it. It makes a good bloody Mary with horse radish, celery salt, tobasco, Worstechire. Since my lap band surgery, I'm not supposed to drink anything carbonated. :( Clamato juice & beer together make it possible to drink beer again. :)

I can't see why anyone would spoil perfectly good tomato juice with clams!

I usually buy a bottle of V8 and a bottle of Clamato, which I really like in a michelada: Clamato,Worcestershire, chilis, salt, pepper, lime and beer. Some places in Mexico serve it by the pitcher. Others will elaborately prepare the glass, leaving you to add the Clamato and beer to taste. I prefer a Bloody Caesar, too, made the same way, with gin instead of beer.

I use Clamato juice when I make a cold shrimp salsa soup. Lots of cilantro and other stuff, I can eat the whole bowl - and it starts with 64 oz of that stuff and a few pounds of shrimp!

Cesar’s are a drink that i really enjoy. Actually if Someone doesn’t tell me that it’s Clamato, I can’t taste the clam.

NOT A VET, OR UP TO DATE ON THE LATEST SCIENCE

Can't recall ever drinking anything, and thinking it needed some fish flavoring.

Clams are not a fish, as far as I know. NEVER had a beer with a raw oyster & cocktail sauce either I suppose. :D Every once in a while you get an oyster with a live crab in it, extra fiber. ;)
