CLAMATO JUICE FANS???

Last edited:
I have recently been drinking Ceasars, which calls for Clamato.

Good stuff, especially with a celery salt rim.

I do like the Bud Light and c!amato juice they sell. Many years ago I used to know an old guy who would drink a "Bullshot" after a round of golf. Campbell's beef broth with vodka over ice.

HIGH IN SODIUM?

Haven't tasted Clamato in probably forty years. Now, alas, I can't drink it or V8 or even most tomato juice. Too much sodium.

Getting old is such fun.

App 650- 800 mg/ 8 oz, or 1/2 your daily limit (give or take) depending on your restrictions. 10 grams carbs, 7 grams sugars, 2 gram protein, ZERO fats, zero cholesterol. The low sodium versions taste flat & metallic. I had to bring a magnifing glass to make the Farina. We are all aging. :( (Them's grits without the sugar sand, for non Yankees.

Clams are not a fish, as far as I know. NEVER had a beer with a raw oyster & cocktail sauce either I suppose. :D Every once in a while you get an oyster with a live crab in it, extra fiber. ;)

I was just joking around. Probably should of added a

My daily limit is way lower than that of normal folks. Ticker trouble.

"Farina"? I thought that was the company that makes dog and cat chow. Now grits, on the other hand, this old Tennessee boy understands. Might have grits and eggs for supper, since you brought it up.

I'm not sure of the fact but I was told by my Canadian neighbors that the Bloody Caesar is the official drink of British Columbia. We used Vodka, clam juice, Clamato and celery salt around the rim, garnish with a pickled assparagrass, best damn summer drink ever....although I've since been introduced to the Moscow Mule which if made right is right up there in contention.
