Clark Custom STC Barrel on Model 41

I thought I would just give a shout out to Clark Custom Guns for their fabulous STC barrels. I put one on my 41 and I love it. The best part is having nothing above the slide - it makes operation, inspection and cleaning so much easier. I currently have it sighted in @ 20 feet for pintops (Leupold DeltaPoint) - at that range I believe it would put 10 rounds in the same hole from a machine rest.

I did have to send my gun to Clark with the new barrel to have my extractor adjusted (it would not extract unfired rounds, but worked great otherwise) but I don't hold that against them. They picked up the return shipping.

I've been using mine for Bulleye competition for several years. I didn't want to drill and tap my 7" barrel for a red dot. Was a drop in fit. I ordered a full length -- no trouble with ejection. It will hold the X-ring at 50 yards off a sandbag.
