Between the Classifieds here, and DICK ( It's always his fault:eek:;):D)

I have been able to acquire these two..

The Nickel, which DICK forced me to buy at a small gun show in Kissimmee Florida, lettered to a distributor in Miami,

And strangely enough the Blue 27 was from a member here who lived in the Miami area..

As Doc44 explained .. these guns were sent in the white to Italy.. engraved shipped back and then finished..

27-2 CLASS " A " ENGRAVED... BLUED AND NICKELED

Those are very nice, and without any gold inlays, they can be shot and enjoyed without having to worry that an ounce of gold just fell out of an inlay!

If I had a 3 or 4 inch K frame engraved in the same style, I would shoot and carry it!.

Enjoy!

Perhaps I just seem to see blue engraved guns more often...(yours is still incredible)

However, that nickel just hits the spot for me. I'll bet I have come back to this post 10 times to look at it.

They are just remarkable and you must feel so fortunate to own them.

Looking at these examples, it just boggles my mind how some people don't see guns as works of art.

Thank you for the generous photographs.

Wow, those are just plain awesome revolvers and it's too bad they got all scratched up, Just kidding, those are a fantastic works of Art and anyone would be proud to own them. !!!! I really like the nickel one as it has a look all it's own and I've never seen an engraved nickle revolver before.

Nice pair.
The work appears to be of a higher quality than many of the domestic "A"s that I've seen.

Stunning, incredible, perfect! Two beautiful pieces of art. I wonder how many hours of skilled workmanship are involved from start to finish? Don't it give you a great feeling to observe the pinnacle of an art, that some individual just decided one day,"I think I'll try to learn how to do that". And, all the time spent practicing on other metal objects until, at some point, he decides that he is ready to take on the responsibility of cutting into what is already a valuable object in and of itself. I would place it up there with cutting a valuable diamond. DLB
