My 10 year old had to do a newspaper type interview with her grandma about her life and put it on paper.
One of the questions was tell about early experience in grade school. Her grandma said she was the "teacher's pet" in 1st grade. (50's)
I proof read her report and she put down that her grandma was the "class pet" in 1st Grade.
Man... you dont know how bad I wanted to leave that as is, but played it safe and had her correct it and explained was a teacher's pet was.
I called my mother n law and got in trouble accusing me that I did that
