I am in the process of restoring my great uncles 1960 Willy's Jeep. I have it pretty much done mechanically, and will be taking care of some aesthetics this summer.

How do you like the number plate?

BTW, there are some fantastic restored vehicles on this thread. Great job to all.

I guess my old trucks would be classics..
I think they are old enough..

Still have a 68 bumpside, and a 74 dentside.
1968 F-250
300 six, T-18 four speed, Dana 60 rear 4:10
limited slip.

And I still have the 74 F-100, although I've
been trying to sell it.
240 six, three on the tree, 3:70 rear..
74f100-2.jpg

The 74 has maybe 120k or so on it, and the
engine is still original. Runs good, and no
smoke.
The 68 I installed a rebuilt long block 300
to replace the original that spun a bearing.
It's got maybe 20-25k on it on it now, and
I think I did the engine about 2002 or so..??
I've also totally rebuilt the front end
including the king pins, etc. Dumped the
original split rims, and put later year solid
rims on it. Almost everything on the 68 is
rebuilt except for the rear end, and the T-18
gear box. The utility bed on the 68 has been
on there almost since the truck was new. I think
the dealer installed it, or they had someone
else do it when the truck was new.
Both need new paint...

That TR 250 is restored frame up 100 % original. I did all the work. They made 84084 in 1968, mine was made in the last week of production. It is Valencia blue, the original color. That battery is a lucas tar top original replica. It took three years to find the stripped hoses. That alternator is orginal. It is a 4 speed with laycock-denormanville electrical overdrive.

I won best in show at the 1990 Vintage Triumph Register nationals held at Ft Mitchall, KY and best of show again at the Vintage Triumph Register nationals in 1991 held in Savanna, Ga.
